Our Water Group in Melbourne has developed many long-term relationships in the water market and a strong pipeline of work. We have a continued focus on growth over the next five years, and as such, we are seeking a Senior or Principal Process Engineer (Wastewater) to join our Melbourne Team.
The Opportunity:
- Undertaking options investigations, feasibility studies and reporting on a wide range of complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.
- Leading project delivery and engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Applying experience and understanding of treatment projects from concept through to detailed design to ensure successful project delivery
- Leading project teams, ensuring high quality deliverables and budgets are met in a timely manner
- Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent.
- Engaging in client facing activities to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Mentoring and sharing your project experience with junior engineers
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering, with approximately 6 to 10 years relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.
- Experience in wastewater treatment process design and modelling would be highly advantageous.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
- Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
- A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to get involved and lead others, whilst contributing to a vibrant team.
