As the company continues to scale globally, we're looking for a
Principal DevOps Engineer
to lead cloud infrastructure strategy, champion DevOps maturity, and drive continuous improvement across an elite engineering organization.
The Role
As Principal DevOps Engineer, you'll set the technical direction and lead a talented team focused on reliability, scalability, and automation.
- Lead at Scale:
 Architect and manage AWS infrastructure supporting thousands of Kubernetes nodes across global environments.
- Mentor & Influence:
 Guide a team of Senior DevOps Engineers, uplifting DevOps maturity and embedding best practices across engineering.
- Automation First:
 Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for consistent, secure, and repeatable cloud environments.
- Observability & Reliability:
 Build world-class monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure resilience and uptime for mission-critical services.
- Security & Compliance:
 Integrate security tooling and frameworks (SOC2, NIST, AWS Security Hub) into CI/CD and container workflows.
- Collaboration & Communication:
 Partner with AI, Platform, and Product teams to deliver scalable systems that power next-gen data and imagery processing.
Experience

We're looking for:
- 7+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Expertise in AWS (EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
- Deep experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration at scale.
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Proficiency with Linux, automation, and scripting (Bash, Python).
- Hands-on experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, or OpenSearch).
- Proven ability to drive DevOps best practices, mentoring teams and influencing technical direction.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical ideas for non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, NIST).
- Exposure to container vulnerability scanning and AWS Security tooling.
- Understanding of enterprise architectures and large-scale data systems.
