The Company

Thirsty Camel Victoria Park is a family owned and operated retail bottleshop. The Gastevski Group alongside the 10 retail bottleshops, also have several other food, beverage and entertainment venues in Perth and the Peel Region. We are looking for an experienced and capable Retail Liquor Manager to manager the daily operations of our busy Thirsty Camel at The Broken Hill Hotel in Victoria Park.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and driven Bottle Shop Manager for a our store in Victoria Park. You will be the face of the venue, responsible for the daily operations, and will build a strong team that is focused on consistently delivering an exceptional customer service experience.

Our drive thru stores offers a wide range of local and international products across Wine, Beer, Premix & Spirits with a commitment to value. You will be the face of the store, responsible for the daily operations and nurturing a strong retail team that is focused on consistently delivering an exceptional customer service experience.

We offer a great working structure of rosters and over-time for any additional hours worked above your 40 contracted hours per week.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Accountability for the presentation of the store, ensuring the store is clean and visually appealing
  • Accountability for all EFTPOS machines and ability to problem solve when issues arise
  • Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills
  • Great product knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience managing a Bottle Shop
  • A full understanding of stock control, forecasting, and ordering
  • Cash handling and cash operating expertise
  • Rostering capabilities
  • The attitude to inspire and mentor your team
  • Strong compliance focus
