Bottle Shop Attendant

We are seeking Casual Bottle Shop Attendant to join our team at Oaks Hotel Motel in Albion Park Rail, NSW. The Oaks Hotel boasts 15 Room Motel Operation, Sport bar, Bistro VIP Lounge, TAB & Wagering Facilities, Bottle Shop and Beergarden.This exciting opportunity offers flexible work hours in a fast-paced retail environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience
  • Assisting customers with product selection and recommendations
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked retail space
  • Accurately processing sales and handling cash transactions
  • Adhering to all liquor licensing regulations and company policies
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with liquor licensing requirements
  • Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate required before starting
  • Assisting with inventory management and stock replenishment
  • Performing other general retail duties as required, including checking in Motel Guests for our busy 15 room Motel operation.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a liquor or bottle shop environment
  • Minimum 6-12 months of retail experience required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, helpful attitude
  • Excellent numeracy and cash handling skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of liquor products and industry regulations is required
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
