Commencing in January 2026, for a period of two years, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Communication & Engagement Officer to join our organisation.
In this role, you will undertake a graduate program developed specifically for you, giving you exposure to a range of communication & engagement activities including internal and external communications, social media, digital and online presences and the delivery of Council's Engagement strategy. These duties are going to help you develop a solid foundation for your communications & engagement career and help you grow from the ground up
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Degree level qualifications in Communication or Engagement within the previous two years, or completion of degree by January 2026.
- Contemporary industry knowledge of communication and engagement.
- Experience to effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and continuously improve.
- Experience in project support and the research, analysis and presentation of information.
- Current Class C driver's licence.
Benefits
This Graduate position is a full time, temporary role working a 35-hour week, with a salary commencing from $70,728.84 per year + 12% super.
