The Company

Warren Global Logistics is an international and domestic freight forwarder and logistics provider based at Burleigh heads. We specialise in air and sea imports and exports and are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join the team.

Job Description –Logistics Operator

No experience necessary as we are willing to train the right person for the job. A key requirement of this position is attention to detail and to be able to problem solve and make decisions under pressure.

The role is full time, Monday – Friday with office hours 0830 – 1700.

Duties involve:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and other general office duties
  • Assisting clients with their air and sea imports and exports
  • Quoting Clients and assisting with the best method of transport for their needs
  • Dealing with overseas suppliers and agents
  • Ensuring all customs clearance and export documentation is in order and compliant
  • Registration of shipments, lodging air and sea cargo automations.
  • Liasing with clients, agents, shipping lines and airlines and cartage companies
  • Organising local pick ups and deliveries

  • Van Driving - small amount of van driving in our Renault Master Long Wheel Base Van

  • Local Deliveries and Pick Ups may be required on the occassion

Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role you must possess:

  • Attention to detail is a MUST
  • Be a dedicated and focused team player who takes pride in achieving a high standard of work
  • Great problem solving skills and the ability to think outside of the box
  • A positive and proactive "can-do" attitude;
  • Good Computer Skills: must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Time Management, organisational and attention to detail skills
