The
Business Analysis Manager – Payroll Transformation
will participate in the management of and contribute to the successful delivery of the Payroll Transformation Program by leading the business analysis practice and team for the Program, ensuring best-practice and consistency in business analysis across the program and throughout the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
The Business Analysis Manager is accountable for business analysis throughout the SLDC by managing business process and business analyst resources to define business processes and requirements, specify and validate functional design/ system configuration, perform functional system testing, support user acceptance testing and participate in and support change management and user training activities relevant to the domain. The role also involves ensuring collaboration, consistency, and alignment across the program and domain to avoid silo effects, as well as participating in overall program management and contributing to the successful delivery of the Payroll Transformation Program.
The successful individual will also lead a high-performing team to provide valuable consulting services and bridge the gap between the Business and Technology teams. This role will apply strategic and commercial thinking, sophisticated technical skills, as well as advanced stakeholder and people management skills to guide the strategy and execution of the Payroll Transformation Program.
You'll Have
- 10+ years' experience as a business analyst across the end-to-end system development lifecycle (including 7+ years' experience working in a similar scale, complex organisation, and relevant domain).
- 5+ years' experience managing Business and Process Analysts.
- BABOK, IIBA, BPMN or other business analyst certification (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and balance competing priorities with resilience and adaptability.
- Experience leading Business Analysts and Business Process Analysts, with a strong track record in implementing best practices across SDLC.
- Significant experience of best practice delivery frameworks and their methodologies, including business process, requirements, scrum, Kanban, lean, design-thinking, human-centred design, multivariate testing, continuous improvement.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills, with experience translating data insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Ability to set and govern strategic initiatives aligned with business needs and industry trends.
- Skilled in integrating technical, commercial, and strategic inputs to design effective solutions.
- Demonstrated success in motivating teams, fostering collaboration, and building strong business partnerships.
