The role

We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Executive to join the Crown Sydney Marketing team in our stunning property in Barangaroo. We're looking for an experienced marketing-oriented social media guru that can bring creativity and strategic thinking to the Hospitality portfolio – where you'll be involved in a number of exciting activities that range from campaigns, activations, event planning, partnerships, EDMs, socials and digital – whilst leading all creative across the property. This role will also lead the content development and influencer strategy for Crown Sydney.

You'll be key to executing a robust marketing calendar that includes Icebergs Harbour Bar, Golden Century and Oncore by Clare Smyth, combining with other teams across Brand, Marketing Communications and the operational business unit to map out fully integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a driven and self-motivated hospitality marketing professional who thrives in ever-changing and customer-facing environments. You'll be confident in managing senior stakeholder expectations, collaborates with ease, navigates obstacles with maturity, and leans into challenges (but you really see them as opportunities).

Some of the key responsibilities will involve:

• Developing and implementing social media plans to align with strategies for F&B outlets and Crown Sydney
• Delivery of a social media content strategy, including style guides that drive business objectives
• Leading briefings with the outlet stakeholders to understand individual campaigns and content requirements
• Working with PR to develop content that aligns with PR & influencer initiatives
• Actioning briefs on content requirements (video, imagery, photography, technology) for campaigns and promotions
• Working with in house Studio and external agencies to develop creative where required
• Building the social media listening insights report to proactively and reactively manage issues and any crisis, working closely with PR
• Engaging with legal and compliance to ensure T&Cs are in line with legal/regulatory obligations
• Working with Procurement where necessary to source prizes or offers for promotions

You'll have:

• 3+ years marketing experience (hospitality, hotels, travel/tourism or retail is ideal)
• A deep passion for brand marketing with demonstrated success in driving results
• Experience supporting, contributing to or managing integrated social media campaigns
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders
• Excellent skills in managing multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders in a high-pressure environment
• Relevant marketing or related qualifications OR demonstrated experience within the industry
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, with the need to be available after hours and on weekends as required
• Unrestricted and permanent Australian working rights
