We are seeking a motivated and skilled Design Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design and development of advanced bolt tensioning and lifting equipment for both domestic and global markets.

You will be responsible for gathering technical requirements, developing engineered solutions, and producing detailed designs and supporting documentation. The role involves close collaboration with customers, sales, and production teams to bring innovative, high-quality products to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and interpret technical information from customers and internal stakeholders.
• Design and develop engineered solutions for bolting and lifting systems.
• Prepare engineering drawings, reports, and supporting technical documentation.
• Conduct material selection, design calculations, and cost analysis.
• Provide technical support to both internal teams and external clients.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and specifications.
• Develop and maintain product manuals and application documentation.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings.

You are a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment. You take pride in creating practical, high-quality designs and enjoy seeing your work make a real impact.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Solid Edge.
• Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to think critically and solve complex design problems.

Desirable:

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in hydraulics, mechanical design, or drafting.
• Background in mining, technical services, or industrial sales will be highly regarded.
