Project Engineer / Detailer

The Role

As Project Engineer / Detailer, you will co-ordinate projects post sales ensuring the product is provided is fit for purpose and achieving customer needs and within budget. You will need to understand the installation method and ensure it is safe and reliable. Products may need to be custom designed at times to meet customer needs.

As the Production Engineer / Detailer, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and ensure technical feasibility with stakeholder input.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor progress.
  • Manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate control techniques.
  • Track and report project performance using relevant tools and systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential project risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and stakeholders.

What You Bring:

·       Strong knowledge of company products and their application in customer projects.

·       Understanding of building site conditions, requirements, and product installation methods.

·       Ability to read and interpret building plans and construction documentation.

·       Proficient in PC use and Microsoft Office applications.

·       Familiarity with document management and communication platforms (e.g., Aconex).

·       Previous experience in the commercial construction industry.
