About the Role
Kanda is seeking a proactive and highly organised Learning & Development Officer to support our L&D initiatives. Based full-time in Bundaberg, QLD, and reporting to the Learning and Development Business Partner, this role is fundamental in promoting the implementation and delivery of programs, coordinating training events, and ensuring mandatory training compliance. You will play a vital part in enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • LMS & Training Administration: Assign, mark, and update learning materials within the Learning Management System (LMS). Manage user accounts, course enrolment, and completion tracking.
  • Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate training records to ensure high compliance for audit requirements. Upload and monitor learning materials and systems, ensuring facilities and materials are compliant.
  • Coordination & Support: Coordinate training offers, assist with external training logistics (venue bookings, scheduling, quotes), and provide support for training questions and trainee enquiries.
  • Reporting & Data: Generate reports and metrics to track Learning & Development performance.
  • Collaboration & Improvement: Engage in projects to promote continuous improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to address skill and knowledge gaps.

About You
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Business Administration (desirable).
  • A combination of relevant experience, education, and training in a similar role for a minimum of 12 months (desirable).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong digital literacy skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive approach to ensure mandatory training is accurately captured, tracked, and delivered.
  • An energetic, willing, and 'can-do' attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Hold and maintain a Working with Children Suitability Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening & unencumbered Class C Drivers Licence.
