About the role

Ignatius Park College invites applications for an energetic and creative Marketing, Communications and Community Engagement Manager who will champion the story and spirit of our College community. In this key role, you will develop inspiring campaigns, build strong connections with families and alumni, and bring College events to life. You will play a central part in shaping the College's public presence - online, in print and in person - while building authentic relationships that strengthen enrolments, enhance engagement, and promote the vibrant, values-driven culture of Ignatius Park College.

The position is Full Time, Permanent.

About you

To be considered for this role you will need:

· Valid working rights within Australia.

· Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.

· Possess a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card for paid employees before commencement as per the No Card, No Start policy developed by Queensland Government.

· Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing or Communications.

· Extensive experience creating and executing effective marketing and communication strategies that deliver proven results (experience in school of educational setting is desirable).

· Analyse the effectiveness of marketing, communications, and community engagement strategies to support the school's enrolment, retention, and reputation goals.

· Demonstrated experience in managing and creating content for multiple platforms across website, social, print, events and broadcast, including the ability to use data-driven insights to refine messaging, channel mix, and timing for maximum community reach and impact.

· Exceptional writing and editing skills and demonstrated experience using design and content programs (eg: In-design, Adobe and Canva).

· Ability to be flexible, embrace and adapt to change and be responsive to the needs of the College.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact positively with a wide range of stakeholders including students, staff, and the wider community.

· Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team.

· Exceptional attention to detail and ability to develop solutions to problems.

· Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, and the ability to use initiative and work autonomously to meet deadlines.

· Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Information Technology Systems and the Microsoft Suite of applications (eg: Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Sharepoint and One Drive). (Experience with TASS is desirable).

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including attending evening or early morning events.
