About the role

We are seeking an experienced Internal Sales Engineer to join our team at Bermad Australia Pty Ltd. This full-time role based in Malaga, WA 6090 will play a crucial part in driving sales and supporting our customers. As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and solutions to a wide range of clients across various industries.

What you'll be doing

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support and solutions
  • Preparing detailed quotations and proposals for prospective clients
  • Maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and partnering with the external sales team to drive growth
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities
  • Collaborating with the engineering and product teams to provide customer feedback and identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related technical field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales engineering or technical sales role
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to provide creative solutions to customer challenges
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful customer relationships
  • Proficient in the use of CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
