Lansdowne Aged Care Facility is located at 25 Lovoni Street Cabramatta. The home provides either permanent or respite care as per the resident's requirements. Caring staff provide the best in professional holistic support, delivering comprehensive clinical care & services focused on helping the aged with specialised nursing, palliative and dementia care.

About the role:

We are hiring casual AIN positions (AM/PM/Night Shifts)

Duties may include:

• Providing personal care services to residents in accordance with the care plan
• Providing emergency responses to sudden changes in resident health status or other emergencies
• Documenting care and services in accordance with Government regulations and duty of care requirements
• Handling and assisting with medications in accordance with Government regulations and duty of care requirements
• Adherence to WHS practices and infection control procedures · Immediately report concerns about resident health or welfare to the Registered Nurse or Local Leadership Team
• Promote Lansdowne in a positive light to residents, families, visitors and the community
• Participating in Lansdowne' Quality program
• Other duties as directed by Clinical Care & Services Manager or delegate

Essential:

• Certificate III (Individual Support - Ageing, Home and Community Care)
• Demonstrated practical experience in an aged care environment
• Documentation skills and knowledge of Government Accreditation regimes
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

Recommended:

• Desirable - Certificate IV
• Desirable - Fluent in Vietnamese
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Practical knowledge of accreditation and quality management
• Adherence to good Work Health Safety practices, company policies, infection prevention control, quality and accreditation issues

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $31.08 – $33.91 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cabramatta, NSW 2166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• AIN: 1 year (Preferred)
