**About Lansdowne Aged Care Facility, Cabramatta NSW**:
Lansdowne Aged Care Facility is located at 25 Lovoni Street Cabramatta. The home provides either permanent or respite care as per the resident’s requirements. Caring staff provide the best in professional holistic support, delivering comprehensive clinical care & services focused on helping the aged with specialised nursing, palliative and dementia care.

**About the role**:
We are hiring casual Wellbeing & Lifestyle Officer positions for weekend shifts and coverage on weekdays as required.

Duties may include:

- To assist with the assessment of residents’ individual interests and needs in regard to developing and individual activity therapy care plan
- To develop and facilitate Recreational therapy activity program, promoting the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of all residents in the facility
- To participate in the review of the Recreational therapy activity program regularly with feedback from residents, relatives, and staff to ensure it continues to meet the changing needs of the resident in the facility
- To ensure all documentation requirements are adhered to according to procedures outlined in the management system
- Consult and liaise with relevant health care professionals, suppliers and external stakeholders
- Adherence to WHS practices and infection control procedures - Immediately report concerns about resident health or welfare to the Registered Nurse or Local Leadership Team
- Promote Lansdowne in a positive light to residents, families, visitors and the community
- Participating in Lansdowne’ Quality program
- Other duties as directed by Clinical Care & Services Manager or delegate

**Essential**:

- Demonstrated practical experience in an aged care environment
- Documentation skills and knowledge of Government Accreditation regimes
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

**Recommended**:

- Desirable - Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Desirable - Fluent in Vietnamese
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Practical knowledge of accreditation and quality management
- Adherence to good Work Health Safety practices, company policies, infection prevention control, quality and accreditation issues

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $29.76 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cabramatta, NSW 2166: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
