Sales Representative - Westberg Sheetmetal – Melbourne, VIC

This is not your average sales job. At Westberg Sheetmetal, you won't just be selling; you'll be building something of your own inside a respected business. The Role:

You'll own sales end-to-end: finding opportunities, shaping quotes, converting deals, and managing relationships through delivery. You'll be the commercial engine of the company.

You'll have the freedom to chase the deals you believe in, backed by a production team that can deliver precision, custom sheetmetal solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the single point of drive and energy for sales - you're not a cog in a machine, you 
    are
     the machine
  • Own the strategy: open markets, grow accounts, and make your mark with builders, architects, OEMs, and manufacturers
  • Bring drawings and ideas to life, with a production team that can actually deliver on what you sell
  • Use CAD (SolidWorks) to assess feasibility and communicate solutions with authority
  • Prepare and deliver accurate quotes and proposals that convert
  • Drive pipeline visibility, reporting, and forecasting
  • Be the face of Westberg at site visits, walkthroughs, and industry events

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven success in B2B/technical sales
     – ideally in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction
  • Metal industry exposure
     – sheetmetal, fabrication, or adjacent sectors (Essential)
  • CAD familiarity
     – you can read and discuss drawings with clients and engineers (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.) (Essential)
  • Commercial sharpness, resilience, and the drive to create opportunities where others can't
  • Comfortable with high accountability and low red tape – you make things happen
