Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Gold Coast. The Accountant will handle a range of financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Other responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with team members to improve financial practices and provide accurate financial information for decision-making. You will play a vital role in supporting clients and internal stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and preparing financial statements
  • Expertise in taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Skills in account reconciliation, transaction management, and analyzing financial data
  • Experience with accounting software and tools
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for team and client interactions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in an accounting firm or related industry is highly desirable
