We're looking for a Senior Commercial Accountant to join our passionate and high-performing team. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in managing financial operations, administration, and compliance — while helping drive process improvements and commercial insights across the business.

Key Responsibilities


• Oversee day-to-day financial operations across the business


• Manage monthly reporting including Commission and bonus reports and KPI department tracking


• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management reporting


• Oversee the bookkeeping function including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, BAS, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation obligations


• Drive efficiency and automation across financial processes


• Support annual preparation of government grants (EMDG, R&D)


• Coordinate end-of-year financials with external accountants


• Collaborate with senior management

You'll Bring


• Degree in Accounting or Finance


• CPA or CA qualification


• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Senior Accounting role


• Proven experience in reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting


• Strong systems and reporting capability (Xero, Excel, PowerPoint)


• Solid understanding of operational finance processes and compliance requirements

• Experience within a SaaS business


• Power BI experience

Contract Details

This is a 12–15 month contract role with strong potential for permanent opportunities beyond the initial term.
