Job Description

We are looking for a removalist with an MR or HR Licence for our logistics team who will work collaboratively with our property stylists for installation and removals of display furniture in Canberra and surrounds.

The role is physically intensive (although the stock is mostly light with no white goods) and requires a consistent dedication to the workload to ensure deadlines and timeframes of clients are achieved.  A suitable candidate will have a positive mindset, be down to earth, have leadership and problem solving skills, and is adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Don't mistake this for being a designer position - this is the perfect job for someone who can show up, drive the truck and move furniture to and from different location whilst working whilst working as a team.

About the Role

Your main duties will be:

  • Select and prepare styling inventory (training provided/Stylist will assist)
  • Installations and removals
  • Minor logistical planning
  • Collaboration with interior designers / property stylists
  • Assist styling team with the overall set up of a property
  • Light cleaning
  • Warehouse organisation
  • Building flat packs / furniture repairs from time to time

About you

  • Must be available Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4ish (days could be flexible depending on the candidate)
  • MR LICENCE (or HR Licence)
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Great team player with a positive, can do attitude
  • Practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Meet physical requirements of the role
  • Leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • WHS aware
