About the role

We have Multiple permanent opportunities within the Production and Maintenance Departments for Trainer Assessor  to join our training team at our QCoal Sonoma Project.

As a Maintenance Trainer Assessor and Multi Skilled Operator and Trainer Assessor you'll play a key role in upskilling our maintenance and production workforce. Your focus will be on delivering safe, effective, and engaging training to our operators, ensuring compliance with both site and industry standards.

• Deliver hands-on training and assessment for truck operators
• Support the implementation of site-specific training strategies and initiatives
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to training solutions
• Promote a strong safety culture across the workforce

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum of 5 year of prior working experience operating Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders and/or Excavators in a coal mining environment
• Current and valid SSE signed verified machinery skill lists (Training transcripts), LMS documents
• Current Trainer/Assessor qualification (Enterprise Trainer/Assessor or equivalent)
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
• Previous experience as a Trainer Assessor in open cut operations
• Current QLD Drivers Licence
• Current Standard 11
