Noosa Council is looking for a hands-on, experienced Civil and Assets Quality Officer to take the lead in delivering our Roads Infrastructure programs. From sealed road resurfacing and rehabilitation to patching projects, you'll coordinate contractors and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Construction Maintenance.
  • Hold (or willing to obtain) a WH&S competency card and C-class driver's licence.
  • Skilled in asphalt, compaction, spray sealing, or traffic management is highly desirable.
  • Confident in leading contractors, managing projects, and delivering practical solutions that meet community needs.

Your Role Includes:

  • Coordinating contractors and overseeing civil infrastructure maintenance and projects across Noosa.
  • Developing and delivering sealed road resurfacing, rehabilitation, and patching programs.
  • Conducting site inspections, monitoring contractor compliance, and reviewing SWMS.
  • Preparing estimates, contract documentation, and providing technical advice to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Mentoring in-house technical personnel and supporting emergency response as required.
