Speech Pathology Team Leader

If you want safe and predictable, swipe left. If you want to build the future of allied health with great culture, tech, and AI, read on.
About BlueRocket Therapy
We're not just another allied health provider. BlueRocket is a founder-led, AI-native organisation rethinking how therapy is delivered in Australia. Our purpose is clear: revolutionise allied health by putting people, progress, and innovation first.
Here, clinicians thrive in a team-first culture where tech and AI remove admin, elevate outcomes, and free you to focus on clients. If you've been looking for a place where bold thinking and genuine impact come together, you've just found it.
You may not like this role if you…
- Prefer your comfort zone over your growth zone.
- Value individual accolades over team wins.
- Aren't willing to make mistakes, learn fast, and grow.
- Think AI in healthcare is just hype.
- Believe "it's always been done this way" is a good reason to keep doing it.
The Role
We're on the hunt for our first Speech Pathology Team Leader to take up a key leadership position in our founding crew. This isn't just another therapy job, it's a once-in-a-career chance. You won't just deliver therapy, you'll help build the culture and way of working that shape our future.
We're after a leader with accountability and follow-through. Skills matter, but mindset matters more. If you take ownership, lean into challenges, love leadership and developing others, and want to grow with a startup, you'll fit right in.
You'll:
- Provide clinical supervision and line management, guiding and mentoring other Speech Pathologists
- Share knowledge and support colleagues while shaping a team-first culture.
- Lead projects and trainings across our organisation, setting the path for how we deliver Speech Pathology services at BlueRocket
- Deliver meaningful, evidence-based therapy that builds independence, confidence, and quality of life.
- Partner with clients and families across homes, schools, communities, and our spaces.
- Work smarter with AI tools that strip away admin and fuel innovation.
- Stay sharp and professional, aligned to SPA, NDIS standards, and our clinical governance.
Why Join BlueRocket?
- Competitive pay – $10k sign on bonus + $120k – $130k base pay + super+ mileage reimbursement and financial incentive for those who go above and beyond.
- A culture that feels good – psychologically safe, neurodiverse-affirming, strength-based, and designed for feedback and growth.
- Flexibility that's real – choose hours that fit your life, WFH when it suits you
- Growth that sticks – 24 hrs study leave + $1,250 PD budget + structured supervision.
- Health & wellbeing – free access for you and your family to GPs, nurses, and psychologists.
- Ownership in the journey – access to our Employee Share Option Plan to share in the value you create
- Startup energy – move fast, shape something new, and have fun along the way.
- Fun along the way – social events, pet-friendly office days, and a crew that knows how to celebrate wins.
This is more than a role. It's your chance to shape the future of allied health with us. Apply now and let's build something extraordinary together.
