About the roleNGM Group is seeking a strategic and hands-on Test Manager to lead our growing test team. You will design and deliver test strategies that ensure quality, reduce risk, and enable faster, more automated delivery of key banking and lending projects. You will help drive best-in-class automation strategies and ensure top-tier solutions reach our customers. Key responsibilities Leading a team of Test Engineers/Analyst, building capability in SIT and test automation initiatives. Define and implement automation-first test strategies and CI/CD pipelines, driving early testing in the SDLC and increasing automation coverage across digital, cloud and lending initiatives.Driving the implementation and continuous improvement of test automation to support Agile and continuous delivery environments.Partner with cross-functional delivery hubs and external vendors to align priorities, negotiate outcomes and ensure robust risk management and defect governance.Working with external testing partners to foster and mature the partnerships, to ensure NGM is gaining maximum value from partnerships, and to ensure that partner testing efforts comply with NGM standards and policies.Collaborating with BAU and project stakeholders to achieve testing milestones and deliverables.Establishing and managing automation test strategies in alignment with organisational needsPrepare Monthly Test metrics to measure the testing team success.Monitoring, reporting, and resolving automation defects throughout all phases of the testing cycle. What we're looking for Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with experience managing multi-project test teams.Proven background in test automation strategy, frameworks and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub, JMeter/LoadRunner, BrowserStack, SonarQube).Expertise in cloud technologies (Azure desirable), CI/CD pipelines and contemporary QA practices within banking or financial services.Excellent communication, influencing and vendor-management capabilities.Familiar with collaboration and task management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.Experience or demonstrated capacity to provide SME leadership and mentoring.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and positively collaborate to achieve business outcomes.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
