The Role

Working in a busy but supportive environment, an opportunity exists for a junior lawyer to join our growing team.

The role will have a significant focus on employment law, along with work in general commercial litigation and regulatory matters.

We are looking to recruit a like-minded practitioner with preferably 1- 3 years' post-admission experience, especially those with strong academic records, a passion for the law and a commitment to building a career as a trusted advisor.

To be successful in the role, you should have experience in:

  • Providing legal advice and representation to clients in litigation:
  • Drafting legal documents including advice, contracts, claims, submissions, and settlement agreements
  • Conducting negotiations and participate in conciliation and mediation processes
  • Representing clients before decision making bodies:
  • Maintaining accurate and timely file records, notes, and time recording
  • Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, case law, and procedural developments
  • Building and maintaining positive client relationships with empathy and professionalism
