About the role

You Make Me Smile Orthodontics Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our dynamic team in Wodonga, Victoria. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced orthodontic practice, where you'll play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the smooth running of the clinic.

What you'll be doing

  • Primary focus on reception and patient care
  • Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments
  • Handling patient enquiries and providing information about services
  • Assisting the dental team with clinical tasks and procedures
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and completing administrative duties
  • Ensuring the reception area and clinic spaces are well-organised and presentable
  • Promoting the practice and its services to potential patients

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the healthcare or dental industry
  • Dental receptionist who is confident front of house and able to assist chairside when needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
  • A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care
