We're reimagining the way Australians live, work, and play. We own and manage some of the most recognisable and loved retail destinations across Australia.
We're evolving our portfolio into destinations that offer a broad selection of retail, residential, and office spaces. Through our diverse portfolio, data-led decision-making, and nationwide development pipeline, we do things differently.
Create experiences. Drive growth. Shape the future of retail.
About the Role
As a Mall Leasing Business Development Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our shopping centres into vibrant destinations. Your mission? Secure exciting short-term leasing opportunities—think kiosks, pop-ups, and activations—that not only generate revenue but elevate the retail experience for millions of visitors.
You'll be part of a passionate Mall Leasing team within Vicinity Centres, collaborating with centre stakeholders to deliver on ambitious goals. This is a role for a natural connector and dealmaker—someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning ideas into reality.
What You'll Do
- Drive Growth: Identify and secure new leasing opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
- Shape Strategy: Execute brand space plans aligned with each centre's vision and strategy.
- Deliver Results: Manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and exceed occupancy and rate targets.
- Elevate Experiences: Ensure every activation meets our high standards for presentation and compliance.
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to create win-win outcomes for retailers and customers.
What We're Looking For
- Sales Expertise: At least 2 years in business development or sales, ideally in retail.
- Proven Success: A track record of smashing targets and closing deals.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at negotiation and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Market Savvy: Always ahead of trends and consumer needs.
- Tech & Finance Know-How: Comfortable with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and budgeting.
Why Join Vicinity?
We're committed to creating an awesome place to work. Here's what you'll enjoy:
- Flexibility: Work options that suit your lifestyle.
- Extra Leave: Birthday leave and the ability to purchase additional days.
- Rewards: $1,000 worth of VCX securities for eligible team members.
- Growth: Access to mentoring and development programs.
- Support: Generous parental leave and a culture that values you.
Ready to make an impact? Join us and help shape the future of retail experiences across Australia.
