We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team at our Traralgon manufacturing facility.


About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining the smooth and safe operation of our equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include

  • Promptly responding to equipment breakdowns.
  • Executing/ Developing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinating with third-party suppliers and contractors for repairs and services.
  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Promoting a strong culture of occupational health and safety.
  • Performing other duties as required, including occasional after-hours call-outs.
  • Flexibility to work across shifts as needed.

Skills and Experience

We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented technician with:

  • At least 3 years' experience in maintenance within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the dairy or broader food industry. (Preferred but not required)
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and explain issues to non-technical team members.
  • Strong general maintenance skills and understanding of preventative maintenance and asset management.
  • A relevant trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer literacy for maintenance documentation and reporting.
