About the role:

The primary responsibilities of this role include loading and unloading of containers and trucks using a variety of forklifts including operating a counterbalance forklift of up to 16 tonnes.

This opportunity is ideal for a team-player with a positive attitude ready to contribute and be cross skilled in all areas of the operation.

We are currently hiring for this role on either a full time or casual basis. Choose the option that best suits your availability and lifestyle.

The current pay rate for this role is: $32.91 per hour - increasing to $33.90 from October 1st.

Success profile:

  • You hold a valid forklift licence, with experience operating a forklift
  • You are confident with loading and unloading containers and trucks and with the ability to support load restraints
  • You're reliable, responsible and will approach to your working day with a positive attitude
  • You can follow instructions, and communicate effectively
  • You are willing to be cross trained in different areas of the operation including warehousing and stock take.
  • A strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to
  • You're open to undertaking other ad hoc duties or tasks as they arise.
