The Opportunity

Because of new contracts awarded, BDR Stainless is looking for "Mechanical Fitters/Boilermakers'' to be part of our team with a great culture who loves a challenge and delivering quality and on time solutions to our customers. This position is open for trade qualified, and quality conscious 'Tradesman" with proven experience working on various sites and workshop.

We are looking to find enthusiastic members to add to our fantastic team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Experience in welding Light/Medium Fab
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Installing Pipework/Platforms/Handrails
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools
  • This is a casual to full time positions for the right candidates
  • Work in the Workshop when required
  • Work on various sites when required

Ideally you will have:

  • Current Construction White Card
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • EWP, WAH, Confined Space, Forklift, Telehandler, tickets an advantage but not essential.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic with good communication skills.
  • Safety Conscious
  • Your own Basic hand tools
  • Ability to work alone or work in a team environment.
  • An ability to learn and embrace new ideas.
  • Dependable, Reliable and Good Time management.
  • Be proactive and provide solutions to every day challenges
