About the Company

Our client based in Thornleigh have the requirement for either a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join their small and amazing team. This is a contract position, working full time hours, Monday to Friday in an on-going capacity with a view to permanent for the right person.

About the Role

  • Perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on, brake and clutch adjustments and general fleet maintenance of Council vehicles.
  • Accurately identify, record and repair faults.
  • Compile all paper work and documents accurately.
  • Forward paper work and documents promptly to appropriate recipients
  • May be required to Order and follow-up of parts.
  • Experience in the repair and maintenance of Light vehicle
  • Well developed trade skills.

Skills and Experience

  • Must hold a Current MR or HR Truck Licence
  • Must be Trade qualified
  • Must have Clear and concise communication
  • Be available to perform overtime if required
  • Have sound experience of Vehicles Mechanics
  • Well developed trade skills.
  • Have the ability to assess faults & record appropriate severity level
