We are seeking a Wills & Estates Associate with 3+ years post qualification experience (PQE) to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting clients through some of life's most challenging circumstances.

Role Description

As a Wills & Estates Solicitor of 3+ years post qualification experience, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert legal services in all aspects of Wills & Estates Law. You will be responsible for managing a caseload, providing strategic legal advice, and supporting individuals and families plan for the distribution of their assets after death and assisting with the legal processes that follow someone's passing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Admission as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdiction and a current Practising Certificate.
  • Minimum 3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in Wills & Estates Law
  • Strong negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to remain composed in challenging situations.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in legal practice management software.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Commitment to social justice and community legal education.

Salary range:
$90,000-$100,000
