Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role is pivotal in ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee month-end close, general ledger integrity, and consolidated financial reporting.
- Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with tax obligations (GST, FBT, income tax).
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Drive automation and efficiency across accounting processes.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, ATO, and consultants.
- Prepare technical accounting papers and support IFRS compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including AASB 16.
- Advanced ERP and Excel skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Commercially focused with excellent communication and analytical skills.
