ABOUT THE ROLE

Join AMSA's Corporate Communication and Media team to deliver engaging communication and stakeholder engagement activities that promote maritime safety and environmental protection.

You will create user-centred content and communication products for internal and external stakeholders for distribution across various channels.

You will be responsible for:

  • coordinating communication activities and evaluating impact
  • creating engaging content for diverse audiences
  • supporting AMSA media operations and internal events
  • assisting internal stakeholders with communication needs
  • managing team mailbox and supporting communication projects

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE  

To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience developing and evaluating communication products and activities, including campaigns, for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to tailor content for varied audiences.
  • Understanding of digital channels including such as social media, email marketing, intranet, and website.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to acquire an understanding of AMSA and its role in the Australian community.
