ABOUT THE ROLE

Position

We are seeking a suitably experienced and customer focused individual to join Council's Development Services team. The position is responsible for providing high level administration and customer service support associated with the development assessment and building certification functions of Council.

Council is seeking applications from candidates interested in either part time or full time employment.

To be successful you will bring

  • Behaviour that positively demonstrates Council's values of: creative, accessible, respect, energetic and safe.
  • Certificate III Business Administration or equivalent, and/or relevant work experience in an administrative/customer service role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of administrative support in a busy office environment.
  • Proven sound interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated well developed communication skills, oral, written and interpersonal.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with an efficient typing speed and experience in the Microsoft Office suite of applications and other corporate software.

The rewards

  • An annual full time salary range of $63,300 to $72,600 (plus 12% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
