Are you a digital storyteller with a passion for sport and media? As Digital Media & Content Specialist at Triple Eight, you'll be at the heart of our content engine—bringing our brand to life across business and team channels. Collaborating with teammates, partners, and stakeholders, you'll lead the charge in filming, editing, designing, and refreshing the dynamic digital content that drives our presence forward every day.

You'll bring a tertiary qualification in digital communications, media, or a related field – or hands-on experience that proves you know your way around content creation, video editing, and graphic design tools. Reporting to the Partnerships & Communications Manager, you'll help shape and lead the execution of Triple Eight's digital media and content.

Triple Eight Race Engineering is known for their Red Bull Ampol Racing entries in V8 Supercars, has set the standard in Australian motor racing for over 20 years. Our passion, work ethic and drive are at the centre of everything we do.

In this role, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of Triple Eight's digital media and content strategy, working closely with the Partnerships & Communications Manager
  • Take the lead in executing the digital media and content strategy, including performance tracking and reporting across Triple Eight's digital platforms
  • Manage the day-to-day rollout of social media and content initiatives across Triple Eight's business channels
  • Support the social media and content strategy for the Red Bull Ampol Racing team
  • Drive the ideation, planning, filming, and editing of engaging video content that tells the Triple Eight story
  • Lead the design and development of high-impact visual assets and artwork for digital platforms
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director and Partnerships & Communications Manager to deliver innovative partnership activations and fan engagement strategies
  • Assist in the implementation of Triple Eight's broader communications and PR efforts

Key Responsibilities

This role includes, but is not limited to, the following areas of responsibility:

Digital Media & Content

  • Manage the day-to-day execution and upkeep of Triple Eight's digital media assets, including websites, EDMs, media releases, online competitions, and fan engagement initiatives across both business and team channels
  • Capture and edit high-quality video content for use across digital, social, and partner platforms
  • Design visually engaging assets using Adobe Creative Suite for use across business, team, and partner media channels
  • Deliver timely and professional communications including pre-event EDMs, member and partner updates, post-event reports, and content wrap-ups
  • Work closely with partners to activate and exceed contracted digital media deliverables in alignment with the broader content strategy
  • Produce monthly reports on digital media performance for internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain organised archives of all event-related content, including imagery, video, and race result documentation

Partnerships Support

  • Contribute creative, forward-thinking ideas to help position Triple Eight as an industry leader within Supercars, motorsport, and the wider Australian sports landscape
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to ideate and develop brand-aligned content that adds value for sponsors and fans alike
  • Support the Partnerships & Communications Manager in delivering standout PR opportunities, media events, partner activations, and general media coverage
  • Assist with the execution of campaign work and on/off-site video and photo shoots throughout the season, working alongside external production partners
  • Help deliver on contracted partnership benefits and assist with day-to-day partner communications and content requests
  • Manage stock levels and distribution of promotional collateral, including team posters, merchandise, and branded materials

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal Digital Media & Content Specialist will bring a combination of creativity, technical expertise, and a proactive attitude. We're looking for someone who possesses most or all of the following:

  • Degree qualifications in digital media, communications, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • Strong experience in website content management, including uploading, updating, and general maintenance
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all mainstream digital platforms and their best practices
  • Advanced video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro (essential)
  • High-level design proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (essential)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent writing skills across a variety of content styles – with the ability to provide examples
  • Confident communicator with exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output
  • Willingness to learn and contribute across a wide range of tasks in a close-knit team environment
  • Flexibility to work outside standard office hours, including during race weekends and key events
  • Creative flair and energy, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Availability to travel to national and international race events as required
