Your new role
As the Systems and Security Administrator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and securing the organisation's IT infrastructure. You'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, and support of systems, hardware, and software, while leading cybersecurity initiatives and disaster recovery planning. This dual-focus role ensures both smooth daily operations and long-term resilience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and monitoring cybersecurity policies and tools
- Leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Administering servers, desktops, networking equipment, and applications
- Managing Active Directory / Entra ID and Microsoft 365 environments
- Providing technical support and collaborating with internal teams and external vendors
- Documenting systems and assisting in IT projects and deployments
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Experience & Skills:
- 3–5 years' experience in system administration and IT security
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and disaster recovery strategies
- A relevant degree or certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Microsoft credentials
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, is desirable

- Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to confidentiality and security
