Driller - Western Australia

The Rix Group, , is a specialist ground engineering contractor. We provide a comprehensive range of ground stabilisation and support services, both above and below ground, including piling, shotcrete, rock bolting, soil nails & ground anchors.

Due to recent expansion The RIX Group is looking to recruit a Driller to join our team in Western Australia

Experience is required in various drilling techniques, specifically rotary drilling for ground anchors, casing installation, anchor installation, grouting and testing.

The position is FIFO to a Tier 1 project near Karratha WA. 20:8 Roster, flights provided

Accommodation and meals provided as well as LAFA

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Full Drivers License (Class C).
  • General Construction Induction (White Card).
  • Minimum of 2 years Drilling experience

  • Relevant drilling competencies to include:

  • DTH, auger, rotary and top head drilling.

  • Ability to safely operate drilling rigs

  • Working at Heights national accreditation

  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.

  • Demonstrate a strong safety culture and awareness and to be a team player

  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
  • You must have the right to work in Australia.
