We are seeking a friendly, professional and customer-focused individual to join our team at the Pemberton Visitor Centre in a casual capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, has a strong interest in tourism and local products and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

  • Professionally arrange, replenish, and maintain stock displays.
  • Accurately process customer transactions using POS and other systems.
  • Assist with stock control, including receiving, unpacking, and pricing goods.
  • Support marketing activities such as promotions, displays, and special events.
  • Carry out general cleaning duties to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with purchasing goods for sale in an efficient manner.
  • Escalate issues when required and assist management as needed.

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience in a customer service or retail role.
  • Experience using POS or retail systems (e.g., Lightspeed, Xero, or similar).
  • Experience handling cash and balancing tills (desirable).
  • Strong teamwork and time management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.

Availability to work weekends and peak periods.
