Responsibilities

  • Providing advice on hair care, products and hairstyles
  • Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
  • Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
  • Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches
  • Cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments
  • Arranging appointments and collecting payments
  • Provide a consistent experience across all services including haircuts, shaves and beard services
  • Open the shop in the morning and complete open admin tasks
  • End of day close / cash reconciliation and handling

Skills and Experience Required

  • Certificate Ill in Barbering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Competent in all haircut styles, fades and on trend styling, as well as all shave and beard services
  • Understand what is current in the industry
  • A basic understanding of upselling techniques/retail offering
  • A positive and respectful attitude
  • Leadership qualities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,515.00 – $80,000.00 per year
