Are you a dynamic sales professional with digital expertise and a proven track record in both business development and client management? Join our Melbourne Direct team as a Client Partner, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative cross-platform solutions and achieving outstanding
results for major accounts. This role is perfect for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing the excitement of generating new business with the satisfaction of nurturing existing client relationships. You'll develop and execute cutting-edge advertising strategies across various digital platforms, working closely with clients to create tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and deliver measurable success.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business generation and revenue growth, while strengthening relationships with key clients across multiple platforms.
Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, leveraging your deep understanding of advertising trends to create innovative Print and Digital solutions that exceed client expectations.
Lead persuasive client presentations (in person and virtual) and negotiations to secure new business and growth with existing clients to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Design and deliver tailored advertising solutions that align with clients' business goals, driving measurable results and fostering trust as a key partner.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring open, ongoing communication and collaboration to sustain and expand partnerships.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, strategy, and operations, to seamlessly execute campaigns and exceed client expectations.
Monitor campaigns and provide insights and regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and revenue projections to inform strategy and optimise results.
Mentor and guide colleagues, contributing to a high-performance sales culture and collaborating to ensure the overall success of the sales team.
Who are you?
2+ years in business development, account management, or sales, ideally within digital media, publishing, or agency environments.
Proven ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities across multiple platforms (Print, Digital), driving growth and expanding client portfolios through innovative strategies and tailored solutions.
Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, print media, and multi-brand strategies. Ability to craft integrated campaigns that align with clients' goals and current market dynamics across both traditional and digital channels.
Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a proven track record of nurturing long-term partnerships and driving client retention and expansion through strategic, cross-platform solutions.
Ability to think critically and strategically, designing customised solutions that meet client needs and achieve measurable results across various platforms.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations, negotiate deals, and convey complex ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
Comfortable using data and insights to inform sales strategy, assess performance, and identify new opportunities for growth across all advertising platforms.
A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on both securing new business and growing existing accounts across Print, Digital, and Multi-Brand channels.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (product, strategy, operations) to ensure successful execution of integrated campaigns and exceed client expectations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing the pursuit of new business with the management of existing client relationships across diverse advertising platforms.
