Job Description
- Shape meaningful customer experiences by leading product strategies that blend human-centred design, insights, and innovation.
- Work in a complex, high-impact environment where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to drive real business growth.
- Bring ideas to life in a role that values strategic thinking, adaptability, and curiosity, with the autonomy to make a lasting impact.

We've always been pioneers, and we're proud to see that spirit in our people today. Our resilience has helped us through good and tough times, and it still drives us to keep pushing the challenging expectations today.
Qantas Lounges are more than a place to wait—they're an experience that defines premium travel. Recognised globally as some of the best in the world, our lounges are evolving with even bigger ambitions: to push the boundaries of design, service, and innovation, and set the new benchmark for airline hospitality. From reimagining how customers relax, dine, and connect, to pioneering concepts that haven't yet been seen in aviation, this is an opportunity to shape a product that's not only iconic today, but will redefine the lounge experience of the future.
We're looking for a
Product Specialist
to join our Lounges Experience team, supporting the design, development, and delivery of product strategies that drive exceptional customer experiences and fuel business growth. In this role, you'll analyse market trends, monitor competitive intelligence, and identify emerging opportunities to initiate and implement innovative product solutions. You'll compile and synthesise customer research and market data to evaluate product performance, shape design decisions, and influence roadmaps—directly contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
You'll have –
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in product management or a similar role, ideally within a large and complex organisation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven expertise in product management, including strategic thinking, customer-centric design, research and insights, problem-solving, and prioritisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in large cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational, project, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail, able to apply a process-driven and risk-based approach to problem-solving.
- Adaptable, curious, and proactive mindset, comfortable working independently and driving change in complex systems and processes.
Why Qantas?
You'll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged. Our people come together to allow us to dream big and deliver successfully.
There are many different opportunities across our team, which means you'll be able to grow both personally and professionally at Qantas. Your development is a priority for us – so that you can maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect and can continue to develop over time. You'll be supported from day 1 with on the job training and coaching as well as our formal training opportunities. While you may start in this role, we've got a great track record of supporting our people to take their career in so many different directions, the destinations are endless.
