We are working on city changing projects including planning for infrastructure required for the 2032 Olympic Games in Queensland, on the METRONET project in Western Australia, major renewable energy projects in Victoria and NSW, Melbourne's Metro Tunnel and Victoria's Suburban Rail Loop Authority.

About The Role:

We are seeking multiple motivated individuals with advisory/consulting experience to join our growing Advisory team in Brisbane and want to hear from you if you are looking to:

Support planning, delivery and mobilisation of Australia's largest infrastructure projects.

Deliver discrete project workstreams end-to-end, framing options and trade-offs with clients, and shaping proposals.

Grow your technical and consulting skills (including the potential to specialise) and gain experience across a diverse range of sectors.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Understand and be able to confidently articulate the value of effective project development service offerings to a business' bottom line and/or government reputation.
• Develop a network and strong market reputation across the Queensland public and private sectors, as relevant to infrastructure projects.
• Act upon your current relationships to identify and develop immediate business opportunities.
• Be commercially astute, with a background in a consulting or contractor environment and/or government sector experience.
• Have a high level of drive, ambition and versatility as the role forms part of a broader team that acts upon innovation and thought leadership.
• You will work on complex project development projects. As a member of a team or as an individual in a client team you will also be expected to leverage identified client and commercial opportunities.
• When not engaged on client engagements, you will assist with proposal writing, proposal co-ordination, thought leadership and other activities that enhance RPS's ability to win work.
• Utilising your skills in the front-end and the back-end of the project lifecycle, your key role will be to provide analytical and project delivery capability, undertaking but not limited to the following:
• Ability to view the project from the client's perspective;
• Create impactful presentations with skill and confidence;
• Write high-quality reports with impeccable attention to detail;
• Monitor and maintain project delivery quality;
• Demonstrate efficiencies and effective processes;

Skills Required For Success In This Role:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Law, Business, Project Management, Economics or Commerce / Finance are desirable.
• 2 years or more proven experience in project/ programme management (development, assurance, risk) including managing projects for government and/or private sector clients.
• Track record of working with clients to plan, deliver and/or mobilise infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to form long-term, trusted relationships with clients, partners and other relevant stakeholders.
• Excellent skills in managing relationships, teams, projects and issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and work co-operatively with people at all levels, to achieve outcomes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Superior written and verbal communications skills and strong slide storytelling.
• Ability to manage and grow business relationships.
