About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Employment Consultant - Workforce Australia to join our Employment Services Team. In this role, you will be working across: Chermside, Fortitude Valley and Mitchelton sites on a full-time basis.
As a Employment Consultant, you will connect jobseekers and employers. Utilising your local labour market knowledge, strong stakeholder relationships to identify job opportunities and reverse market candidates to find long-term sustainable employment.
In partnership with other Recruitment Coaches, RTOs and employers to ensure the right fit for every role, while also providing post-placement support to help customers thrive in their new jobs
Reporting to the Area Manager, the Employment Consultant will be responsible for:
- Proactively engage with local employers to identify vacancies and match them with suitable candidates.
- Reverse market jobseekers into roles and support job carving where needed.
- Collaborate with Coaches to align job opportunities with customer skills and goals.
- Refer customers to relevant training and employment programs.
- Deliver group sessions to enhance employability and job search skills.
- Provide post-placement support to customers and employers for up to 6 months.
- Maintain accurate records in government and internal systems.
- Build strong relationships with RTOs, industry bodies, and community stakeholders.
About You:
The ideal applicant will have:
- Experience as either a recruitment consultant or in employment services
- Strong customer service and objection handling skills.
- Proven ability to build employer relationships and identify job opportunities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate and support jobseekers from diverse backgrounds.
- Confident using CRM systems and managing employment fund processes.
