The role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Civil Construction worker to join our team at Hannigan Civil Pty Ltd in Lismore, NSW. As a casual position, this role will involve a range of hands-on duties to support our civil engineering and construction projects across the local area.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out general labouring tasks on civil construction sites, such as digging, laying pipes, and assisting with concrete works
  • Operating construction equipment and tools, including Excavators, Rollers and other earthmoving machinery.
  • Undertaking site preparation and clean-up activities
  • Following all safety procedures and wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Collaborating with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a similar civil construction or labouring role
  • Strong experience with the use of construction tools and machinery
  • A strong focus on safety and the ability to follow instructions carefully
  • Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Must have your own means of transportation
  • Must have a White Card
