About the Role:
As a full-time Assistant in Nursing (AIN) in our aged care facility, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily care and wellbeing of our residents. Working under the supervision of registered nurses, you will assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support, while also helping to monitor residents' health and comfort. Your compassionate and attentive approach will contribute to creating a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, communicating effectively with the care team, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and infection control are upheld at all times.

Job tasks and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and lifestyle support that promotes dignity, privacy, and independence.
- Assist with daily living activities and basic clinical tasks under the supervision of RNs and ENs.
- Demonstrate empathy, respect, and professionalism in supporting older people and engaging with families and team members.
- Work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds and uphold ethical and legal responsibilities at all times.
What We're Looking For:
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in aged care or a related healthcare setting.
- Basic knowledge of clinical care tasks, infection control and WHS practices.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professional development and learning.
