We are currently seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable support workers to assist a specific participant with high-intensity support needs, including _MILAS_, _Ataxia_, and _epilepsy_. This role requires someone who values empathy, patience, and dedication, providing round-the-clock care to ensure the participant's safety and comfort.

**About the Role**

This position focuses on supporting a single participant with complex needs:

- **Condition Overview**: The participant has _MILAS_ and _Ataxia_, which result in fatigue and a need for extended rest. While they have not experienced a seizure in three years due to their well-managed routine, 24/7 care is required to monitor and respond to any potential seizures or emergencies.

**Support Requirements**:

- Assistance with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, Community access, appointments and meal preparation.
- Monitoring and maintaining a seizure-safe environment.
- Providing companionship, promoting well-being, and respecting the participant's preferences.
- Managing medications as per the care plan.
- Supporting community access and engagement with activities tailored to the participant's energy levels.

**Essential Qualities**:

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Relevant certifications: First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children Check, National Police Certificate, and a valid driver’s licence.
- Formal training in Disability Support or Nursing is an advantage but not essential.
