About the role

We are seeking a part-time Quality Assurance and Human Resources Officer to join our team at NT Friendship & Support in Darwin, NT. This position will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and supporting our dedicated employees.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and implement quality assurance processes to monitor service delivery and identify areas for improvement
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
  3. Coordinate employee onboarding, training and development programs
  4. Manage employee records and ensure HR practices align with relevant legislation
  5. Provide guidance and support to managers on HR-related matters
  6. Assist with the development and review of HR policies and procedures
  7. Contribute to the overall continuous improvement of the organisation

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality assurance or HR generalist role
  3. Strong understanding of HR principles, employment legislation and compliance requirements
  4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Adaptable and proactive approach to managing competing priorities
  7. Passion for supporting the delivery of high-quality community services
