About the Role

Join a well-established maintenance team within a clean, modern, and safety-focused manufacturing facility in Edinburgh North.

This is a 6-month temporary opportunity with a clear pathway to permanent employment for a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter who thrives in a structured and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and packaging equipment
  • Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs to minimise downtime
  • Support mechanical upgrades, installations, and commissioning work
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with electrical and production teams to ensure equipment reliability
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold high WHS standards

What You'll Bring

  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Proven PM and fault-finding experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Strong mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement
