**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work collaboratively with the team to complete a range of tasks from general maintenance to preventative maintenance, assist with breakdowns, and complete small day-to-day projects.

**Your responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Ensuring all plant equipment is in efficient operating condition, completing downtime maintenance as required.
- General site maintenance
- Going through Jobs Board to close off small tasks around the site
- Improving machine reliability and efficiency
- Ensuirng all safety standards and requirements are met and maintained.

**To achieve success in this role, you will need**:

- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment (desirable).
- Experience in installations, fault finding, repairs and maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Willingness and ability to work adapt to be an all-round maintenance team member assisting other trade qualified staff members with Mechanical Fabrication, Pneumatics, Electronics, etc.
- Ability to Tig weld preferable.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the team and other stakeholders.
- Organised and proactive self-starter with a creative and innovative problem-solving attitude.
- Understanding of Work Health & Safety procedures and requirements.

**Licences and Qualifications**:

- Trade qualification Mechanical Fitter
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Yellow Card
- LF Forklift Licence
