About the Role
You'll conduct inspections, investigations, and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with NSW legislation and Council policies. Your work will uphold high environmental health standards and contribute to a safer, healthier community.
About You
We're looking for someone who shares our values of respect, integrity, courage, honesty, and transparency.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 2 years' experience in environmental health or regulatory compliance
Strong knowledge of NSW environmental health legislation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical capability for field inspections in varied conditions
Current Class C driver's licence
Desirable Criteria:
Bachelor's degree in environmental/public health or related field
Registration or eligibility with Environmental Health Australia (EHA)
Experience in local government
Knowledge of legal and court procedures
Certificate IV in Government (Investigation)
Training in food safety auditing or HACCP principles
